Help Desk Specialist - Navy Reserve Pay Systems

Location: New Orleans, LA (NIWC Facility) Clearance Required: Active Secret Company: RISA Job Type: Full-Time

Description: Hiring Help Desk Specialists to support Tier I/II technical resolution for the Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System (NSIPS) as used by Reserve personnel. Specialists will assist users with pay, personnel record, and system access issues, escalating as needed and maintaining detailed documentation.

Responsibilities:

Answer phone and system-based support inquiries
Log, resolve, and escalate trouble tickets as required
Interface with NSIPS and related pay systems (e.g., DJMS-RC, IMAPMIS)
Maintain user access records and assist with status validations
Monitor trends and support system corrections and user education
Requirements:

5+ years of Navy Reserve pay/personnel experience or Tier I/II technical support
Familiarity with NSIPS, DJMS-RC, MMPA, or similar systems
Strong customer service and documentation skills
Prior military, Reserve, or contractor experience strongly preferred
Work Environment

Professional Office Environment: Must be able to sit at a desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone.
Must be able to communicate regularly via telephone and verbally present information to employees, customers, and outside vendors.
Expected Hours of Work

40 hours per week based on the customer's core operating hours.
