Position Overview
The National Guard's State Partnerships Program (SPP) International Affairs Services is a Joint Department of Defense (DoD) security cooperation program. The SPP is an important Security Cooperation tool for geographic combatant commanders (GCCs) and an integral element of the DoD mission. The SPP is used by GCC to encourage and enable international partners to work with the United States to achieve U.S. strategic objectives. The SPP allows the DoD to increase interactions with foreign defense and security establishments; build enduring defense and security relationships; promote specific U.S. security interests; develop allied and friendly military capabilities for self-defense and multinational operations; and provide U.S. forces with peacetime and contingency access to host/partner nations.

Responsibilities
- Create a Monthly Progress Report (MPR) of actions completed.
- Generate a Year-End Roll-up Report of submitted data/information.
- Draft a SPP Program Management Guide (PMG) Update at the beginning of each fiscal year. The current SPP PMG is available upon request.
- Ensure the Draft SPP PMG Update conforms to the current National Guard Joint Staff writing style.
- Draft a SPP PMG Track-Changes Analysis Quarterly Update.
- Draft a New SPP Partners Status Updates in Microsoft Excel. The Draft New SPP Partners Status Updates tracks new, emerging, potential NG international relationships to include SPP partnerships.
- Draft Decision Recommendation Briefing Slides (Briefing Slides) (approximately 1-2 per month).
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have Secret Clearance
- Must have prior experience with Monthly Process Reports
- Some Travel
