Personal Care Assistant/Administrative Support

Place of Performance: Fort Worth JRIC: 1720 Doolittle Avenue, Fort Worth, TX, 76127
Period of Performance: One (1) year base period with four (4) option year periods to follow.
Schedule: Work will be performed from Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday, Wednesday, & Friday will be on-site, and Tuesday & Thursday will be remote (no weekends or holidays).
Requirements:
• Ability to assist the government employee with basic needs such as: bathroom breaks, eating, drinking, and walking, etc.
• Ability to work autonomously accessing when issues need to be elevated to achieve the program’s mission.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Ability to organize files, assist with light filing, and answer phones. Ability to lift, move, transfer, and/or position employees in wheelchairs, complying with policies, procedures, and specific protocols properly and safely.
• Must have a clean background check / criminal history to be eligible for the successful adjudication of a top-secret clearance.
Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
• Shall pre-conference with the employee and the Program Office to identify specific employee needs, tasks to be performed, and discuss accommodations.
• Notify the EO Program Manager whenever any significant changes to needs or tasks are identified. All changes must be approved by the program office prior to implementation.
• Shall document specific needs and/or interventions restricting personal health.
• The contractor shall provide daily assistance to DIA civilian employees and applicants with targeted disabilities who require assistance with activities of daily living and/or mobility during the employee's working hours as well as preparing documentation and business support. The contractor shall take an integrated team approach to assist the employee and establish a direct connection with the employee regarding their daily needs in the workplace. This support will be provided throughout DIA HQ and/or required off-site locations.
