Position Summary

We are activly seeking a Mid-Level Cloud Engineer to support cloud deployment, optimization, and system maintenance efforts across critical infrastructure. This role is ideal for a technically skilled IT professional with hands-on experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, Citrix, and VEEAM, and a passion for improving system performance, security, and scalability.

The Cloud Engineer will work collaboratively with technical teams and clients, address ITSM tickets, and support the design and deployment of secure and efficient cloud-based systems. The ideal candidate will be interested in International Development.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

• Address assigned IIS ITSM tickets in a timely manner
• Work in tandem with cross-functional teams to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions.
• Modifying and improving existing systems.
• Designing, developing, and deploying modular cloud-based systems.
• Developing and maintaining cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
• Ensuring efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with Client's security policies and best practices in cloud security.
• Identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
• Regularly reviewing existing systems and making recommendations for improvements.
• Interacting with clients, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on client needs.
• Provide support for: AWS, FileCloud, VEEAM and Citrix

Education, Requirements and Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Active Secret Clearance preferred
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or equivalent combination of education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering
• Cloud Platform Certifications
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA-V), VEEAM Certified Engineer (VMCE), or other relevant certifications preferred.
