Position Description:
CGI is on the lookout for a highly skilled and experienced AI Developer to revolutionize enterprise automation and knowledge management. With your expertise in LLM-powered agentic frameworks like CrewAI, Langchain, and LlamaIndex, and your proficiency in integrating enterprise tools such as Jira, Confluence, and other third-party systems, you'll be at the forefront of innovation.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying AI-driven solutions to support automation, knowledge management, and software development workflows for enterprise clients.
Hybrid role near any CGI office, preferably on the East Coast
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Design and build AI agent orchestration workflows using CrewAI, Langchain, and LlamaIndex.
Integrate LLMs (OpenAI, Mistral, Claude, LLaMA, etc.) with enterprise platforms including Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and ServiceNow.
Develop and optimize modular AI agents for tasks such as ticket triage, documentation automation, and SDLC support.
Implement secure, scalable APIs to connect AI agents with internal tools and external systems.
Collaborate closely with DevOps and client teams to support deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
Customize memory management using vector stores (e.g., Chroma, FAISS) for long-context workflows.
Support clients with on-site setup, customization, and training of AI solutions as needed.
Lead PoCs, technical workshops, and act as a domain expert for agentic AI applications.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in AI/ML and LLM development.
Deep hands-on experience with CrewAI, Langchain, LlamaIndex, and vector databases.
Strong understanding of prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agent task chaining.
Proven track record integrating LLMs with Jira, Confluence, and other enterprise platforms (via REST APIs or SDKs).
Proficient in Python, FastAPI, Docker, and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure).
Experience building and deploying AI applications in enterprise environments.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to travel or temporarily relocate to client sites based on project needs.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with agent memory systems, multi-agent collaboration, and feedback loops.
Knowledge of SDLC tooling (GitHub, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines).
Familiarity with governance frameworks for AI, including human-in-the-loop approvals and audit trails.
Exposure to front-end frameworks (React/Next.js) for building AI portals is a plus.
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $214,800.00.
