Pricing Analyst, Associate Principal

AMERICAN SYSTEMS, a leading large, employee-owned federal contractor in Chantilly, VA, seeks an Associate Principal Pricing Analyst with 11+ years of federal contracting experience. Responsibilities

• Lead large pricing proposals as a trusted partner with account managers and capture teams.
• Develop and collaborate on price strategies, competitive assessments, and price-to-win recommendations to increase award opportunities that lead to company growth.
• Partner with account managers and capture teams to develop winning pricing strategies for company growth.
• Evaluate requests for proposals and provide pricing solutions, strategies, and competitive assessments.
• Develop cost models and narratives for various contract types in response to requests for proposals.
• Lead pricing reviews and present financials to all levels of management.
• Collaborate with business functions (Contracts, Procurement, Human Resources, Finance, Business Development) to ensure compliance and competitive pricing.
• Ensure the timely development of multiple pricing submissions often within tight proposal schedules.
• Ensure compliance with internal cost estimating systems, proposal requirements, and government regulatory requirements.
• Prepare files for audit and support audit requirements.
• Engage with team members on collaboration, knowledge sharing and reviews, supporting junior and mid-levels as may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 11+ years of relevant pricing experience in Government contracting leading large proposals and working collaboratively in solving problems and identifying solutions.
• Experienced creating successful competitive analysis and price-to-win assessments.
• Experienced effectively advising senior management on price strategy, Government contracting regulations (FAR, DFAR, CAS, etc.) and proposal financials.
• Experienced collaborating with account managers, capture managers and proposal teams.
• Experienced with the application and limitations of contract types (Cost Plus, T&M, FFP, etc.)
• Proficient in MS Office Excel for developing models and using advanced formulas.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• A personal drive for collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement.

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $107,800.00/Yr. - USD $180,100.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
