Tyto Athene is searching for a Director of Army & DISA to join our growing business. The Director of Army & DISA will be responsible for leading the strategy and program excellence across the company's portfolio of solutions and services delivered to a wide range of Army & DISA customers. This position will be maintaining and creating customer relationships across the Army & DISA. This position will directly manage a team of Business Unit Program Managers & Program Directors. This position will also lead major business development and capture pursuits helping to expand Tyto's capabilities across the Army & DISA landscape and tangential HIT agencies.

Tyto Athene is searching for a Director of Army & DISA to join our growing business. The Director of Army & DISA will be responsible for leading the strategy and program excellence across the company's portfolio of solutions and services delivered to a wide range of Army & DISA customers. This position will be maintaining and creating customer relationships across the Army & DISA. This position will directly manage a team of Business Unit Program Managers & Program Directors. This position will also lead major business development and capture pursuits helping to expand Tyto's capabilities across the Army & DISA landscape and tangential HIT agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and vision to employees, motivate them to strive for achievement of business goals and objectives, and instill a culture of customer service and accountability.
- Responsible for managing a large profit and loss organization, planned revenue, and execution of program growth initiatives.
- Responsible for all aspects of program delivery compliance and customer satisfaction.
- Develop strategies to onboard new service delivery practice capabilities.
- Develop efficiencies to maximize profit in all service delivery.
- Recruit, develop, and train skilled delivery resources.
- Leverage existing and build new relationships to expand Tyto's network and reputation with the Army & DISA customers as well as other key programs that have mission linkage.
- Participate in proposal development from an operations and delivery perspective, taking responsibility for the management approach and program management plan, as well as participate in solutioning related to the overall technical approach and strategic pricing.
Required:
- Familiarity with Army & DISA IDIQ vehicles and contracts along with MTEC and DIU acquisition methods and ability to develop capture strategies to optimize outcomes leveraging those various vehicles and acquisition approaches.
- Thorough understanding of Army Unified Network Operations plan & DISA customer's missions across their entire enterprise. Intimate knowledge of the problems to be solved, domain and functional capabilities needed, and the competitive market landscape.
- Minimum of 15 years' recent and relevant experience managing 100+ employees supporting complex IT Modernization, Army & DISA Audio Visual Multimedia, DISA Network Operations, and 4 th Estate Network Optimization and Common IT Systems and Services programs/projects.
- 10+ years of experience with Army & DISA program management, including conducting primary interactions with senior clients.
- Holds an active Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
- Proven track record of managing a large profit and loss organization with annual revenues of $60M per year in the Cost Reimbursable, Fixed Price, and Time and Materials environments.
- Proven track record of winning Army and DISA contracts with total contract values of $50M or greater.
Desired:
- Possess a current Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification.
- Possess a process improvement certification or 5 years of experience implementing process optimization methodologies.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in business or technical field. MBA or Master's degree in technical or business field is desired.
