Lockheed Martin is looking for an energetic and high performing Systems Engineer Manager to lead a diverse energetic Configuration and Data Management (C&DM) team.
As a Systems Engineer Manager Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
• Interface with the Program Controls Senior manager and provide daily guidance to subordinates to ensure program execution
• Lead C&DM efforts to include technical direction, planning, staffing, and performance
• Provide mentorship and skill development to a C&DM team to include full engineering lifecycle processes, from architecture and requirements development through system operations and integration
• Manage all aspects of Data Management Contract Deliverable Requirement List (CDRL) schedules, deliveries, and verification in accordance with contract requirements and schedules
• Responsible for providing status to program IPTs, preparing metric / status charts as required, work DM related issues with internal stakeholders, National Teammates, and customer representatives
• Manage and support the ERB/CCB process, support as a voting member as needed and provide guidance in conducting the ERB/CCB Meetings.
• Coordinating informal documentation releases for management control in EPDM
• Support multiple Procurement IPTs
• Manage configuration of supplier Statement of Work (SOW)/SDRL in EPDM.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with data management to include scheduling, tracking, submitting data deliverables (CDRLs) and working with data repositories
• Experienced with using PTC Windchill software or other Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM) systems and/or tool administration
• Configuration management skills including more than one of the following, planning, engineering release, product identification, change control, status accounting, as-designed/as-built, verification/audit
• Experience with Engineering Review Board (ERB) and Cost Control Board (CCB).
• Experience leading teams, developing processes and business requirements, and collaborating with internal and external management or customers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance - U.S. Citizenship required
Desired Skills:
• Experience with controlling a configuration baseline for programs that are transitioning from Development to Production
• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems problem solver; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive change
• SharePoint or other workgroup collaboration tools
• Familiarity with missile program support
• Contract and/or subcontract management experience
• Analytical skills to follow and understand relationships of hardware and software
• Drafting and/or CAD exposure and/or training to facilitate drawing and model review
• Proposal preparation and negotiation experience
• Knowledge of program management, finance, contracts, Earned Value Management (EVM) and demonstrated business insight
• Bachelor's or master's degree in related discipline
• Active or Current DoD Secret security clearance

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
