Must Haves:
  • Bachelor's of Science Degree in Engineering/Technical/Math discipline and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8-10 years of prior related experience.
  • Electro-Mechanical Assembly process experience including fixture design, robotics/automation, and mechanical process equipment (minimum of 4 years experience
  • IPC workmanship standards, including IPC-610 and J-STD-001 knowledge
  • 3D modeling software knowledge
  • Proficient in MS Office/computer skills
  • Can work well in a team environment
  • Able to track progress and report thorugh Program Management
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Attention to detail (detail oriented environment)
  • Self-starter and able to work successfully with minimal supervision

Nice to Haves:
  • IPC workmanship standards, including IPC-610 and J-STD-001 Certs
  • 3D Modeling Software experience (CREO / PRO-E preferred)
  • Exposure to Additive Manufacturing processes and technology
  • Lean Six Sigma training preferably Yellow or Green Belt certification
  • Ability to support Transfer of Technology (Production)
  • Position may require travel overseas to support Transfer of Technology projects (If not feasible can work around it)

Job Description:
Support assembly processes (improvements, general troubleshooting, and corrective actions) for new and existing products including in our configuration and shipping department:
  • Electro/mechanical support of manufacturing systems, processes, and equipment, including automation & PLCs
  • Fixture/ tooling design support using 3D modeling software
  • Preventative maintenance and process ready
  • Create and maintain process details and standardized work instructions
  • Communicate with Engineers and Operators to identify and implement process improvements
  • Make recommendations for tooling and process requirements for new or existing product lines
  • Work with Engineers to implement and analyze manufacturing engineering plans and projects
  • Support production validation builds on new processes.
  • Interface with vendor and subcontractor representatives.
  • Work with Operations using Lean Manufacturing Principles to establish efficient process flows
  • Establish root cause and corrective actions using Six Sigma Principles and tools.
