GENERAL DUTIES:

CLEARANCE:
- Building and maintaining containers and Helm charts for analytic capabilities to transition, deploy, and integrate into DoD systems and workflows
- Security hardening and maintenance of code, artifacts, and containers; to include passing DoD CI/CD checks
- Follow agile process for code development leveraging DoD's Atlassian suite
- Updates to analytic capabilities to support a variety of data ingestion, processing, and results generation integration targets; to include:
- Adjusting I/O integration to different types of data types, formats, and systems
- Adjusting feature engineering/ML analytics to new data
- Scheduling/orchestration and adjusting analytics to scale to new workloads and environments
- Mature and improve capabilities to include:
- Inclusion of end-to-end metrics gathering, health monitoring, and alerting
- Improvements to data processing architecture
- Improvements to MLOps and results
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Remote work with 1-2 weeks of travel per quarter
- Significant Kubernetes experience (including building and maintain Helm charts)
- Significant CI/CD experience (including passing DoD security hardening checks)
- Significant DevOps experience supporting data ingestion/ETL, data processing/analytic workloads, and presenting results/metrics across a range of technologies
- Linux (RedHat/Rocky, Alpine and distroless containers)
- Python (pandas/pyspark), bash, SQL, Terraform, data/file formats (json, parquet, etc.)
- Spark, Kafka, ELK, MinIO/Ceph, Nifi, Airflow
- Gitlab, Jira, Confluence
- AWS
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarity with DoD and/or cyber security operations desired
