Acquisition Analyst
Job Description:
PEO STRI is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Acquisition Analyst to join our team in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of federal contracting regulations, Army Acquisition regulatory & statuary requirements, policies, and procedures, with an emphasis on ensuring compliance and supporting the acquisition process through all phases of Army acquisition. The Acquisition Analyst will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient, compliant, and timely processes, from initial acquisition planning through program closeout.

The Acquisition Analyst will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient, compliant, and timely processes, from initial acquisition planning through program closeout.

Worksite details: Hybrid, In office minimum 2 days a week
Duties will include:
- Establish internal processes for acquisition documentation creation, updates and document maintenance through the program lifecycle.
- Review and analyze acquisition documents to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Maintain files of approved documents and all documents in staffing in accordance with government regulations.
- Maintain updated working copies of all documents that require future submission.
- Track and monitor the staffing process to ensure all staffing packages are approved at the appropriate level and on time.
- Provide guidance to project teams and stakeholders regarding processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Leadership role in the collaborate with PdM SWS program management team for the completion, updates and maintenance of all required acquisition documentation.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of experience in federal acquisition and contract management, with a focus on federal contracting regulations (FAR/DFARS).
- 10+ years of experience in federal acquisition with focus on DoDD 5000.01, DoDI 5000.02, and AR 70-1
- Security Clearance: Secret (mandatory).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Assist with the planning, development, and execution of contracts in support of federal acquisitions.
- Ensure all contracts adhere to federal contracting terms and regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
