We are seeking highly skilled and self-motivated Avionics Repair Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will perform complex fault isolation and component-level repairs on sophisticated electronic military hardware. This position requires minimal oversight and a high degree of technical expertise, with a focus on precision, innovation, and adaptability to meet evolving customer demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, conduct, and document tests on avionics systems and subsystems.
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve test anomalies and technical issues.
- Develop and refine test plans, procedures, and processes.
- Maintain and ensure readiness of test systems through preventive maintenance.
- Train and mentor junior technicians in test procedures and equipment usage.
- Recommend and implement new test equipment, methods, and process improvements.
- Apply extensive technical judgment to achieve specific test objectives.
- Innovate and contribute to the development of new test methodologies.
- Guide intermediate-level personnel through complex problem-solving scenarios.
- Ability to Obtain U.S. Government Security Clearance (Requires US Citizenship)
- Proven ability to perform complex fault isolation on avionics systems.
- Proficiency in aerospace-quality soldering techniques.
- Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other fault isolation equipment.
- Strong foundation in electronics and avionics theory.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with depot-level F/A-18 avionics repair.
- Active Secret Clearance
- High school diploma or GED required.
