DESCRIPTION
Amazon Web Services is seeking an Account Executive to support our US Space Force Customer.
In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of a growing business for the USSF. Your responsibilities will include establishing, building, and managing the growth of programs and pursuits in a high-profile account. This will include developing overall business strategies, collaborating across AWS, and engaging with customers and prime contractors to influence and accelerate adoption.
The role requires a professional who is experienced in space and space acquisitions, opportunity management, business development, partner engagement, and capture activities for programs across the USSF. The ideal candidate will have (1) expertise operating in entrepreneurial and highly matrixed environments, (2) the ability to translate customer requirements into technology solutions, and (3) past performance leading DoD or IC programs. Candidates should have an understanding of the the DoD/IC community infrastructures, policies, and operational performance requirements.
Key job responsibilities
* Meet regularly with USSF executives, PEOs, Material Leaders, and Mission Owners to understand their mission requirements.
* Drive revenue and market share in a defined USSF Territory
* Accelerate customer adoption and customer satisfaction
* Maintain a robust sales pipeline
* Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption
* Develop long-term strategic relationships
This position is based in Denver, CO.
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of full sales cycle, technology sales or equivalent business development, sales engineering/consulting or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
- Experience in engineering, computer science, or MIS
- Experience driving new business in greenfield accounts at the C-suite level or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $83,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. This position is eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan. These plans pay according to achievement level against sales targets and/or business objectives. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
