Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Production Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team in El Segundo, CA.
Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels: Associate, Mid- Level, or Senior Production Operations Specialist.
A successful candidate will be able to lead teams of highly skilled technicians through daily tasks involving spacecraft integration.

Summary pay range for Associate Level: USD $66,300 - $89,700
Summary pay range for Mid-Level: USD $85,000 - $115,000
Summary pay range for Senior Level: USD $100,300 - $135,700

Position Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements manufacturing processes
- Provides concurrent engineering support
- Defines production activities and resolves problems of limited scope
- Reviews and approves technical documents
- Analyzes charging trends and develops projected manpower forecast
- Assists with the preparation and justification for major capital expenditures and equipment implementation
- Leads projects and participates in technical research on proposed projects
- Serves as primary interface with internal customers
- Translates data into actionable plan for implementation within the organization
- Compiles and provides management status reports for corrective/preventative action
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Experience in manufacturing operations and/or manufacturing support
- Experience interpreting and working from blueprints, sketches, and written/verbal instructions
- Experience working in a laboratory environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience in fall protection, confined space, hazardous energy, crane safety, and incident investigations
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESCI)
- Experience working in teams/work groups
- Experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
