Description:
Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) team as an F-35 Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor. This position will be part of the Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) aircraft maintenance team supporting the F-35 aircraft maintenance operation at Volkel Airbase Netherlands. This is an Accompanied position that requires a passport prior to start.

What You Will Be Doing
This position requires the following:

• Manages general services, repairs, and overhauls of aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure that aircraft are in good mechanical condition and safe for flight.

• Creates and assigns work-orders in the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) and accomplishes aircraft safety of flight releases as required.

• Candidate may supervise multiple maintenance disciplines in an integrated workforce environment that consists of Military and Lockheed Martin employees.

• Ensure workforce follows appropriate technical instructions CGOP, 8210D, and local operating instructions.

• Advises management on status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed. Ensures good housekeeping and safety practices are enforced.

• Considered candidates must be capable of working first (1st), second (2nd), or third (3rd) shift(s) dependent on customer needs.

• Candidates should expect to depart on temporary duty assignments with short notice, dependent on customer or LM ICS needs to include stateside or overseas. This may include certain military required health screenings and immunizations.

• Final Security Clearance Required. Must be a US Citizen.

Basic Qualifications:
The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:

• 6 years minimum fighter aircraft maintenance experience with thorough understanding of Fighter Aircraft Systems and flight line operations.

• Overall fighter experience must include at least 2 years consecutive F-35 aircraft maintenance experience (experience must be within the last 5 years)

• Leadership experience in an aircraft maintenance environment developing work schedules and tasks

• Experience with such programs as Aircraft Scheduling/Records Management, Job/Maintenance Control, Configuration Control, Maintenance Information System, Tool and FOD, Time Accounting, Training, Safety, Security, Hazardous Waste Management or Supply Chain Management.
Desired Skills:
The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the other candidates:

• Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) or Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS) experience

• Proficient in the use Microsoft Office products

• Ability to develop and present formal briefings and presentations.

• Ability to develop necessary maintenance plans and procedures.

• Knowledge and understanding of 8210D

• Experience providing On-the-Job Training to other

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
