Your Role
You are a seasoned remote Senior Database Administrator with extensive experience in designing, developing, and optimizing database systems.The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in analyzing, designing, and implementing database systems solutions that optimize HR processes and improve decision-making for HRC. The ideal person will work closely across various lines of business to understand the objectives of the organization and prioritize any requirements

How You Will Make an Impact
You will design, develop, and maintain robust database systems that support critical business applications, ensuring optimal performance through strategic tuning and indexing. Your proactive approach to database security and backup strategies will safeguard sensitive information and maintain data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Creates and maintains business intelligence reports and dashboards for the U.S. Army Physical Disability Agency, on the SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence platform.
- Analyzes application data to identify agency trends and ensure data quality.
- Optimizes SQL queries within business intelligence tools for improved responsiveness to data requests.
- Communicates and portrays complex operational and strategic level data by designing meaningful graphical representations of data that can be quickly absorbed by senior leaders and decision makers at the Agency, Department of the Army, and Department of Defense levels.
- Supports rollout and operations of the Electronic Physical Evaluation Board application.
- Documents business processes, reports, business requirements, data schemas and data dictionaries.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of experience, along with a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree with at least 15 years of relevant experience will be accepted in lieu of a Master's degree.
- Must hold a Technical Level III professional certification as defined by DoD Directive 8570, such as CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Knowledge of the SAP Business Objects WEBI reporting tool to assist in report generation and data verification is preferred.
- General Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence knowledge including data modeling and Key Performance Indicators (PKIs) preferably in the SAP Business Objects environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Access, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of SQL (Business Objects, Microsoft Access)
- Experience in Cloud Computing/Development (AWS, Azure)
- Active Secret Security clearance is required
