Job Description:

JFL Consulting, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Executive Assistant to support the Midwest Regional Director for Cyber Operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the heart of national security operations, gaining firsthand experience in a high-impact, mission-driven environment. You'll play a vital role in ensuring seamless daily operations by coordinating schedules, managing classified documentation, and facilitating critical communications. As a key member of the team, you'll regularly engage with military and government leaders, while developing specialized knowledge of defense and cyber operations. Job Title: Executive Assistant

Place of Performance: Offutt AFB, NE 68113

Mandatory Requirements: Active U.S. Top Secret Clearance (SCI Eligible)

Experience Level: 2-5 years of experience supporting staff in high-security or government environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Regional Director, including calendar management, briefing preparation, and day-to-day scheduling
  • Attend meetings independently, take detailed notes, and ensure follow-up on assigned action items
  • Draft, edit, and manage documents and presentations, including classified materials, in accordance with security protocols
  • Coordinate travel logistics and submit expense reports per company policy
  • Track timecards, deliverables, and ongoing operational priorities using internal systems
  • Act as liaison with internal staff and external contacts, including senior military and government personnel
  • Support logistics for briefings, conferences, and secure communications
  • Uphold professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion in all tasks and interactions
  • Additional duties as assigned


Requirements

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Business Administration, Communications, Public Administration, or a related field is required. Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years supporting staff in high-security or government environments
  • Experience attending and documenting meetings independently
  • Familiarity with handling classified or sensitive information and working within secured facilities

Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with timekeeping and expense platforms (e.g., Unanet, Deltek, SAP)
  • Comfortable with secure communication platforms and DoD protocols

Knowledge:
  • Understanding of U.S. government operations, particularly DoD or Intelligence Community environments
  • Knowledge of administrative best practices and procedures for supporting executives

Soft Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • High attention to detail and time management
  • Adaptability in fast-paced, high-security environments
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly
  • Proactive, reliable, and results-oriented

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous support experience within a cyber operations, defense, or national security-focused organization
  • Prior interaction with general officers or military leadership
