Imagine One Technology & Management, Ltd. is actively seeking an experienced Software Developer to support an effort within the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic in North Charleston, South Carolina. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience supporting Navy and/or United States Marine Corps (USMC) Programs of Record (PoRs) and can deliver solutions that automate, sustain, modernize, and deliver mission-relevant capabilities to the warfighter. Key Responsibilities:
Support software development and integration efforts across both Windows and Linux platforms to include compiling source code using automation tools and managing a variety of build types. Assist in integrating both Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software into broader project systems to enhance system capability and ensure seamless interoperability. Collaborate closely with teams managing current and future Tactical Data Systems (TDSs), facilitating essential functions such as data sharing, synchronization, and interface management. This includes contributing to data exchange, fusion, federation, correlation, and aggregation initiatives to support system-wide integration.
Implementation of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) on Red Hat Linux, Windows 11, and Windows Server systems to establish and maintain secure product baselines to directly support compliance with cybersecurity requirements and ensure the integrity and resilience of deployed solutions.
Additionally, provide hands-on support for network setup, configuration, and maintenance across multiple environments, and assist in the installation and configuration of hardware and software components. Foster a collaborative team culture that emphasizes clear communication, mutual support, and high performance in achieving project goals.

Qualifying candidates must meet or exceed the following:
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of ten (10) years of hands-on experience supporting C4ISR engineering, software development, integration programs, or similar USMC / Navy efforts
- Experience must include some of the following:
- Full software development lifecycle in an Agile / Scrum / SAFe environment
- Windows and Linux operating system scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
- Proficiency implementing STIGs to Red Hat and Windows 11/Windows Server systems to provide a secure product baseline
- Familiarity with virtualization and container technologies (e.g., VMware, Docker, Kubernetes, Podman, etc.)
- Working with databases (SQL)
- Using DevOps tools (e.g., GitLab, Ansible, Jenkins)
- Modern coding languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, C#)
- Troubleshooting or updating older (legacy) systems and/or codebases
- Performing system testing and validation
- Writing, reviewing, or updating software and fixing code issues
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Network Security, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or Red Hat® Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
- IAT level 2 certifications (e.g., Security +, CISSP)
- Vendor / platform-specific certification(s)
- Agile / SAFe certification(s)
Tools & Technologies Experience:
- Experience using the following platforms, software, applications, etc.:
- Operating Systems: Windows, Windows Server, Red Hat Linux
- Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, VBScript
- Platforms: VMware, Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift
- Tools: Ansible, JSON/YAML, ACAS, SCC, SharePoint, JIRA, Confluence
