Credence has an immediate opening for an experienced Network Engineer who will be primarily responsible for supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC)/IN at Wright Patterson AFB, OH.

AFLCMC/IN is headquartered at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH with units located at Tinker AFB, OK, Robins AFB, GA, Hanscom AFB, MA, Hill AFB, UT, Eglin AFB, FL. The AFLCMC/IN mission is to engage and support AFLCMC programs, projects, technology development and development planning efforts in addressing Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) supportability, and adversary/threat considerations in the form of Acquisition Intelligence (AI) support. The AFLCMC/IN mission also enables linkages to the Air Force and Joint/National Intelligence Communities (IC), provides predictive battle space awareness to local force protection activities, and provides local/regional Special Security Office (SSO) support and Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communication Services (JWICS) access. AFLCMC/IN is responsible for ensuring information superiority and agile combat support by providing a wide range of intelligence acquisition and sustainment services meeting warfighter requirements for information assurance (IA), communications security, foreign threat and intelligence/force protection products and cyber capabilities. AFLCMC/IN leads the integration of intelligence considerations-both ISR acquisition supportability issues and adversary/threat information-into the Center's programs and projects.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below
  • Provide primary network configuration/maintenance support to WPAFB's Site AF JWICS Infrastructure; on-site support to all SCIFs located on WPAFB requiring AF JWICS access via the WPAFB Site project; remote AF JWICS network advisement to regionally co-located industry partners utilizing the WPAFB Site project; remote AF JWICS network assistance to geographically separated government SCIFs responsible to the WPAFB SSO and SIO (travel authorized if mission/budget demands and allows).
  • Perform design, configuration, installation, upgrade, monitoring, troubleshooting, routine change management functions for WPAFB Site AF JWICS network infrastructure.
  • Interface/coordinate with WPAFB Site AF JWICS ISSM for cybersecurity policy/RMF control implementation.
  • Interface/coordinate with 88 CS, NASIC, AF IC, 690 ISS, ACC/A25J and other agencies as necessary.
  • Develop processes, conduct investigative research, and trend analysis actions as directed by DAO, CISO, ISSM, SIO, or appointed government official.
  • Manage cybersecurity network management/monitoring tools (Infloblox, SolarWinds, GEMONE, ISE, etc.)
  • Develop/draft network-related artifacts as required for the continued authority to operate (ATO) and higher headquarters issued taskings.
  • Assist information technology specialists with troubleshooting and maintenance of collateral (NIPR, SIPR, etc.) systems LAN systems if required.
  • Perform cryptographic equipment maintenance, hardware upgrades and replacement, firmware updates and system configuration changes remotely or in-person as required.
  • Perform COMSEC (CRO) duties for AFLCMC/IN customers located in Bldg. 11, 20, and 556 only.
  • Maintain all certifications and training requirements in good standing as determined by DoD, DAF, IC policy.
  • Qork with the Site ISSM to acquire an ATO and comply with continuous monitoring criteria.
  • Must have the means to travel to and from the above-mentioned work locations to perform required tasks as a government vehicle is not available. Battery operated "vehicles" are available for use on Area B if personnel meet minimum requirements of operation.
Education, Requirements and Qualifications
  • Top Secret SCI security clearance required
  • Master's degree and 10 years of experience required
  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a Master's degree
  • IAM level II certification required
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Travel within the organizational geographic Area of Responsibility (AOR) (note - potentially ground and air transportation) on occasion
  • Must be eligible for access to Special Access Program (SAP) information if required and be willing to submit to a counterintelligence polygraph
  • Must be able to maintain elevated privileged access to information technology systems
