Cyber Analyst

Job Description

Tyto Athene is searching for a SOC Analyst to support an onsite project at Scott, AFB in Collinsville, IL.

Responsibilities:

• Provides guidance on system Governance, Risks, and Compliance for a DoD Enterprise Voice Over IP system.
• Integrates with Government security stack and personnel to retrieve, parse, and provide recommendations on data from vulnerability scanning systems like Nessus/ACAS.
• The successful candidate will focus on analysis of provided data.
• Integrate with system engineers to create and organize data from Security Technical Integration Guides and Security Requirement Guides and create artifacts for reporting system security posture.
• Integrates with Security Architect to demonstrate overall security posture and to provide continuous monitoring of security controls.
• Integrates with US Government personnel to respond to requests for data related to system security.
• Works with US Government, contract management, and contract personnel to respond to zero-day vulnerability mitigation and remediation, response to Government Information Assurance and Vulnerability Management (IAVM) notices, and support system engineers with organization and reporting of system patching.
• Supports Risk Management Framework (RMF) functions in the completion of Assessment and Authorization efforts, quarterly STIG preparation and periodic/ad hoc ACAS scan analysis.
• Candidate will be able to receive IAVM notifications, maintain common security mailing lists, and maintain attention to current security trends.

• 100% onsite at Scott, Air Force Base

Compensation:

• Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $98K-$106K. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
