HOW BEING AN IT PROGRAM MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT?
- Deputy Technical Lead / IT PM will be required to perform a number of diverse functions for the customer from participating and contributing to technical tasks, to leading development and infrastructure efforts.
- Leads and champions a data driven organizational plan to optimize the customer's data management, governance, accessibility.
- Responsible for providing programmatical expertise in the planning, vision, design and implementation of the technical solution.
- Attends customer meetings and may serve as primary client liaison.
- Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client.
- Coordinates development of deliverables and products.
- Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
- Participates in special projects as required.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
- Required Experience: 15+ years
- Required Technical Skills:
- - Provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership for the program.
- Supervises assigned staff, including subordinate supervisors.
- Participates in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.
- May also perform high level technical services on assigned tasks.
- Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload.
- Attends customer meetings and may serve as primary client liaison.
- Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client.
- Coordinates development of deliverables and products.
- Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
- Participates in special projects as required. - Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
- Preferred Skills:
- Scrum Master
- Firm understanding of SQL and database concepts
- Experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, SNS, CloudWatch)
- Experience with ServiceNow and/or Salesforce
- Location: Chantilly, VA, customer site
