Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is looking for a candidate to perform programming and scripting for Windows Virtualization/ Active Directory projects for a US Government Customer supporting a Joint Service live and virtual exercise environment. The selected candidate will work as the lead administrator providing expertise in automation and orchestration for both virtual and on premise servers. The candidate must have experience in automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet. In addition, the selected candidate will provide systems administration support to existing physical and virtual systems, helping keep them patched, scanned and in compliance with all DoD directives and requirements. Primarily focused on Windows infrastructure, the candidate must have a fundamental working knowledge of networking. This position is 100% on site.

Specific job duties include:
- Experience in automation or scripting in both physical and virtual environments.
- Windows server system administration, including Active Directory
- Windows VM system administration (ESXi or VMWare)
- Create and manage virtual machines and snapshots.
- Maintain asset inventory, act as the focal point for user account, network permissions, and access requests.
- Implement STIG requirements and maintain STIG checklists.
- Maintain ACAS compliance on all network devices. Troubleshoot and remediate vulnerabilities and non-compliance as necessary.
- Experience hardening servers to DISA standards and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scans and documenting variances from the guidelines when needed.
- Fundamental networking knowledge, being able to troubleshoot connectivity, etc.

- Security+ CE
- GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
- Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP)
- System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)

- MCITP (Enterprise Administrator)- Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Enterprise Administrator on Windows Server 2008
- MCITP (Server Administrator) - Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Server Administrator on Windows Server 2008
- MCSA - Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator
- MCSE - Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
Required Skills
- 5+ Years of Experience with Windows Systems
- 3+ Experience with Windows VM environment
- 2+ Years' experience in scripting and automation
- Experience in leading small to mid-sized technical projects
- Experience coordinating tasks with other government/ contractors.
Desired Skills
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and ITIL Certification
- Experience with the IAVM process
