ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Hardware Engineer to join our team in Stennis, MS.
In this role you will research, design, develop, or test computer or computer-related equipment. You will be responsible for overseeing the modification, installation, trouble-shooting, imaging/re-imaging, etc., of computer or computer-related equipment and components.

In this role you will research, design, develop, or test computer or computer-related equipment. You will be responsible for overseeing the modification, installation, trouble-shooting, imaging/re-imaging, etc., of computer or computer-related equipment and components.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support the enterprise architecture, design, development, and deployment of end user devices in support of government customer; collaborate and capture customer requirements, presenting customer requirements in technical exchanges with other government agencies
- Research and implement computing devices solutions, capabilities, and enhancements to support customer business/mission goals and objectives, while complying with the network architecture, cyber security, and design standards
- Oversee modification, upgrades, installation, and troubleshooting to support enterprise incidents impacting or directly caused by end user devices, providing root cause analysis and documenting information in tickets and knowledge repositories
- Assist with development and execution of test plans and supporting documentation for configuration upgrades, additions, or revisions
- Evaluate and report on new/emerging computing technologies to enhance capacity, performance, and reliability; Evaluate and recommend changes and/or technology upgrades and technology refreshes to address performance, standardization, and industry best practices
- Perform and support site installations, technology refresh, develop implementation plans and schedules
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise architecture, design, development and deployment of end-user devises
- 8570 Compliant certifications
- Experience and understanding of primary network topologies, LANs, WANs and other common network standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a closely related field.
- Knowledge of specific application domains, such as incident response, network and end user device interfaces, interoperability, and cyber security
- Experience with security tools and technologies commonly used in to scan, image, and secure end user devices
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, and scripting languages relevant to security operations (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have a current/active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD suitability is required prior to starting this position.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
