Operate and maintain enterprise level NMS tools. Perform daily network updates/changes/moves as required. Monitor network for outages and performance issues. Coordinate with Sr. Network Administrator and Base to push changes to include configuration and software updates.
Specific tasks:
• Network configuration and automation
• Network monitoring and alerting
• Common Troubleshooting
• Policy and STIG compliance validation
• Performance monitoring and analysis
Associated tasks, include the following:
• Bug and Vulnerability patching
Required Skills:
• Ability to clearly communicate and work with others
• Cisco switch and router experience
Desired Skills:
• Experience with US Air Force data networks
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Visio software
• Experience with Cisco switches and routers
• Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst Center (CCC)
• Experience with Cisco Wireless Center (WLC)
• Experience with Cisco Access Points
