Position Description:
CGI is actively seeking to hire a DevOps Engineer / Full Stack Developer to join our team supporting a Federal client. In this role, youll work within an agile team to enhance and maintain business applications and systems from CGIs Fairfax, VA offices or remotely. Youll have the opportunity to work with the project team to review system requirements, design and develop software solutions and enhancements using .NET and Java-based technologies. Additionally, youll construct technical solutions and supporting deliverables to enable the client to accomplish its business objectives. Develop automated build and deployment pipelines to implement applications in AWS cloud environments and support the teams DevOps processes. Perform analysis and evaluation of component packages and software related to incidents and troubleshooting. Perform testing, evaluation, installation, configuration, and development of application releases required by the remediation along with required code changes. Install and upgrade software, patch, and plugins to ensure and sustain security compliance.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
Provide IT technical services and technical expertise in systems, technical infrastructure, tools, modeling, external interfaces, and other technical areas.
DevOps-related Technologies include AWS Cloud (Lambda, Cloudwatch, EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, RDS, AWS Load Balancer, Secrets Manager, Route53) and GitLab Runner pipelines to deploy .NET and Java-based applications.
Development technologies include .NET (ASP.NET, C#), Blazor, Java (JEE, Spring, Hibernate) and Angular frameworks.
Work with User Experience Designers to design and enhance the user interfaces for supported applications, maintaining responsive designs that smoothly resize for different devices and browser sizes.
Create and maintain unit test cases meeting the required code coverage thresholds.
Complete complex development, design, implementation, architecture design specification, and maintenance activities.
Contribute to the development of documentation.
Work closely with clients and cross-functional departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance and to communicate project statuses and proposals.
Participate in the entire software development lifecycle.
Monitor system performance.
Test new software and fix bugs.

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree.
Five (5)+ years of Information Technology and Systems experience.
Two (2)+ years of working experience establishing and maintaining automated build and deployment pipelines.
Experience working with clients and business partners, excellent communication skills in a client-facing role
Working knowledge of agile methodologies.
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
- Experience configuring AWS cloud environments to operate and monitor business applications.
- Experience developing user interfaces with Blazor.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $57,100.00 - $121,900.00.
