DESCRIPTION OF POSITION/DUTIES:

All Points is seeking a licensed Mechanical Engineer (ME) who is registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) in one of the 50 U.S. States, U.S. Territories or Possessions. The lead ME shall serve as the Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) for all mechanical systems on the "campus-wide" system for a Federal Agency in Washington, DC area. The ME provides support to building operations in the following capacity:
The ME research, develops, plans, and designs mechanical and electromechanical products and systems. Oversees and coordinates activities involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of mechanical or electromechanical products and systems. Activities may involve but are not limited to electric generators, internal combustion engines, steam and gas turbines, power-using machines such as refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment, machine tools, material handling systems, elevators and escalators, and industrial production equipment. Research and analyze data, such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application. Designs products or systems, such as instruments, controls, engines, machines, and mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, or heat transfer systems, applying knowledge of engineering principles. May oversee engineering personnel in test control apparatus and equipment, and development of methods and procedures for testing products or systems. Directs and coordinates installation activities to ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications. Coordinates operation, maintenance, and repair activities to obtain optimum utilization of machines and equipment. May design systems to interface machines, hardware, and software. alternative designs. May evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.

All Points is seeking a licensed Mechanical Engineer (ME) who is registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) in one of the 50 U.S. States, U.S. Territories or Possessions. The lead ME shall serve as the Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) for all mechanical systems on the "campus-wide" system for a Federal Agency in Washington, DC area. The ME provides support to building operations in the following capacity:
- Advise mechanical technicians in troubleshooting system malfunctions.
- Develop, implement and regularly review all mechanical preventative maintenance plans meet Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards.
- Perform overall capacity management (maintain building calculations to manage supply available with loads required).
- Ensure building modifications comply with all code requirements and original design intent for NGA Washington

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related Engineering Field
- MBSE is desirable but not required
- 7 - 9 Years
- Active, current, and fully adjudicated US DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility is required. Unfortunately, candidates that do not have a TS Clearance are not eligible.
- The lead mechanical engineer shall possess at minimum of seven years' experience in managing and operating facilities.
- Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) in one of the 50 U.S. States, U.S. Territories or Possessions.
- High-end user of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM)
- Strength as a system planner
SECURITY CLEARANCE:
- Active, current, and fully adjudicated US DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility is required. Unfortunately, candidates that do not have a TS Clearance are not eligible.
