DESCRIPTION OF POSITION/DUTIES:

All Points is seeking a licensed, trained, and qualified High-Voltage Electrician (HVE) capable of supporting the "campus-wide" electrical system for a Federal Agency in Washington, DC area. In addition, the Superintendent is responsible for managing all electrical, operations, maintenance, and power generation. The Superintendent shall possess certified training as listed below.
The Superintendent is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment in his/her specialty qualification and for emergency notification of proper supervisory personnel as needed. Responsible for meeting metrics /compliance to include staffing and scheduling is adequate to ensure safe compliance within established work hours. Responsible for coordinating work with trades not under his/her supervision. Must ensure work scheduled for support to construction projects must be deconflicted with compliance as agreed with contract with end customer.

- International Electrical Testing Association (NETA), Electronics Testing Technician (ETT) Level III Certification
- Commonwealth of Virginia Licensed Master Electrician
- National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) Electrical Power Testing Level III Certification
- National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70E, Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace Certification
- OSHA ten hour and 30-hour Construction Safety Certification
- American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) Level II Infrared Thermography Certification
- AVO Advanced Protective Relay Maintenance Technician Certification

Additional duties may include but are not limited to:
- Supervises the team that implements, analyzes and refurbishes transformers, converters, regulators, circuit breakers, distribution lines and other electrical equipment.
- Runs tests on electrical instruments to measure power generation and distribution.
- Handles routine maintenance to prevent issues with equipment.
- Follows and enforces safety rules and regulations.
- Trains new electricians and personnel. overseas and directs contractors on electrical work.
- Replace equipment that is damaged beyond repair.
- Completes timecards and work orders.
- Bachelor's Degree desired
- 14+ Years
- Active, current, and fully adjudicated US DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility is required. Unfortunately, candidates that do not have a TS Clearance are not eligible.
- Advanced Degree is desired
- Excellent customer relation skills in a high-stress environment
