Experience Requirement:
A minimum of three (3) years' experience of tactical network systems engineering experience is required.
A bachelor's degree may be substituted with an additional five (5) years of related experience performing tactical network systems engineering functions.
Primary Location: Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland
Salary Range: 85K-160K Annual; Commensurate with Education/Experience

Job Description Summary:
Orchestrates the development of a Line of Sight, Beyond Line-of-Sight transmission system of interest (encompassing hardware and/or software) through its entire life cycle, from requirements determination through operations and system retirement, with an emphasis on domain expert involvement, risk/opportunity management, and tailoring of processes to meet the needs of the specific project. Apply advanced consulting skills and/or extensive technical expertise, full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction.
Require a subject matter expert to apply expertise in Radio Frequency analysis, design, and operations to support PM TN LOS, BLOS transmission systems. Analyze data and translate those into recommendations while working with various teams across the organization. Develop data requirements to support research and development initiatives supporting modeling and simulation

- 5+ years of experience with RF communication systems
- Knowledge of Line of Sight, Beyond Line-of-Sight systems
- Ability to interact with a technical audience on technical problems
- Secret clearance required
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with channel simulators to support LOS, BLOS, and SATCOM system analysis
- Knowledge of one or more RF modeling and simulation tools: AGI STK or MATLAB
- Ability to take poorly defined problems and convert them into requirements
- Ability to exhibit flexibility, initiative and innovation to succeed in an ambiguous and fast paced environment, including composing client deliverable quality documentation, analysis and reports
- Ability to be highly detail-oriented and organized
