SAIC is looking for an Engineering Technician IV in Crane, IN to support the U.S. Navy.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Test, troubleshoot, & repair complex electronic assemblies.
- Provide Depot Level Repair of US Navy and Royal Australian Air Force Assets.
- Overhaul WRA/SRAs in support of ALQ-99, ALQ-249, ALQ-218, ALQ-240 as well as other systems as needed.
- Conduct routine repair, retrofit, systems integration, calibration and testing; in-line repair and testing; operation of test equipment.
- Prepare inputs for test plans/Review test plans and procedures.
- Conduct or monitor system, subsystem, equipment or component testing.
- Analyze test results/determine valid recommendations and conclusions based on test data.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate's Degree and 2 or more years of experience; OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 or more years of experience.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance; Interim Secret needed to start.
- Must be U.S. citizen.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams.
- Ability to read engineering diagrams and drawings.
- Experience using hand tools.
DESIRED:
- Soldering experience.
