Description

SSI is seeking an experienced software and web interface professional to support a team in San Diego, CA developing the way users interact with computer systems, software and websites. Must possess active Secret clearance, and ability to work onsite daily at NAVWAR's Topside location in San Diego. Alternate work schedule on the 9/80 may be permitted.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Developing, upgrading and maintaining websites and web-based collaborative sites using Power Apps, web server software, and knowledge of various server environments for a Navy customer
• Securing web applications by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access
• Working collaboratively with software development team, government customer and end users, and other key stakeholders on internal tools and processes
• Assist with the development, modification and bug fixes for scripts in Python, Powershell and JavaScript
• Reporting network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information; managing projects (Agile)
• Establishing reportable metrics that are efficiently obtainable
• Manage SharePoint integrations, workflow and document storage
• May assist with creating white papers, writing SOPs and documenting processes as requested
• Special projects as assigned

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

• U.S. Citizen with an Active Secret Clearance
• BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, Info Systems or related field
• Must have a current Sec+
• 4+ years of experience in each of the following: Networking (including configuration, protocols, troubleshooting and the fundamentals of network design), software development, web site design maintenance
• Web programming technology experience with emphasis on security and scripting, markdown language proficiency required
• Familiarity with Agile process ie. how to do conduct a SCRUM, manage sprints and show progress
• Scripting language experience to include: Python, PHP 8.x, Bourne Shell, Powershell and JavaScript
• git Server setup experience, command knowledgeable
• Must have Power App experience such as: Power Automate, Canvas App, Power BI
• Must be fluent in WDL (Workflow Definition Language)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

· Development experience including C/C++, utilizing databases (Postgres and SQL Variants) and object-oriented programming

· Cloud Experience in Azure, Salesforce and/or AWS

· Configuration Management Tool experience such as GIT, SVN and CVS

· Master's Degree in a related field

· Certification in Linux, AWS or other related field
