The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a full-time Inside Software Sales Representative to focus on selling software products and services to customers and prospects via phone, email, and online platforms, requiring strong communication, technical understanding, and sales skills to achieve sales targets. Works proactively, a self-starter, and collaborative in a teaming environment. Integrated Work Management Software, and Asset Management software and consulting services industry solution knowledge is a plus.

Key Responsibilities and Skills:
Lead Generation and Qualification:
- Identifying potential customers and qualifying them based on their needs and suitability for the services and software solutions.
Outreach and Communication:
- Contacting leads via phone, email, or online platforms to introduce the services or software and understand their requirements.
Presentations:
- Create and deliver PowerPoint presentations for internal and external audiences.
Needs Analysis and Solution Matching:
- Understanding customer needs and tailoring the software solutions to meet their specific requirements.
Negotiation and Closing Sales Support:
- Discussing pricing, terms, and conditions of the sale and assisting the finalizing deals.
Post-Sale Support and Relationship Building:
- Providing support and follow-ups to maintain customer relationships and potentially upsell or cross-sell in the future.
CRM Management and Proficiency:
- Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline in SalesForce software. Manage sales activities and customer data.
Staying Up-to-Date:
- Keeping abreast of industry trends and competitor activities.

Essential Skills:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for engaging with customers and building rapport.
Technical Skills:
- A good understanding of the software product and its technical capabilities is essential for answering customer questions and demonstrating the product effectively.
Sales Skills:
- Proficiency in sales techniques, including lead generation, needs assessment, presentation, negotiation, and closing deals.
Customer Service Skills:
- The ability to provide excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships.
Time Management and Organization:
- Inside sales reps often work independently and need to manage their time effectively to meet sales goals.
Research and Analytical Skills:
- The ability to research potential customers and understand their needs and market trends.
Required Experience:
- At least 2-3 years of related experience
