Position Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of the condition of the equipment.
- Participate in the development of policies and procedures that affect the use of supplies and facilities.
- Ensure that all the equipment and other facilities are working properly.
- Initiate interventions to solve problems.
- Oversee cleaning, repair and maintenance of contractor equipment.
- Initiate an active campaign on safety measures.
- Evaluate the work quality of staff and other subordinates.
- Participate in preparing company facilities maintenance budgets.
- Coordinate/communicate with the upper management on work issues
Position Requirements:
- U.S. Citizen
- Valid U.S, Driver's License
- Active Secret Clearance
- Minimum H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. required ; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in related field considered a strengthPrior experience in a warehouse environment or in security, policy, military, facilities, or equivalent work experience preferred, but not required.
- The Facilities/Safety Manager(s) (F/SM) must possess the OSHA 30-hour General Industry Safety and Health Certification .
- Demonstrated experience in:
- Preparing statistical and analytical reports.
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be able to pass a background ck which includes credit, criminal and DMV.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organization skills
- Must be computer literate
