Application Developer-Programmer (4927)

Eagle Harbor LLC is looking for a qualified Application Developer/Programmer to support our contract with DOE National Training Center.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Produces and maintains software by collaborating with Development, Database, IT, QA and SharePoint teams; works with subject matter experts to identify needs and satisfy requirements in proposed software development or modification, to include full software lifecycle. Plans and develop prototypes of proposed software.
  
• Understands and adheres to a strict change management process for all code deployments, software installations and site configurations.
  
• Works with QA and product owner to conduct software demonstrations and sprint planning sessions.
  
• Contributes to improvements of products by introducing new technical solutions and methodologies for quality and security enhancements. Understands the importance of the software development process beyond code, to include hardware requirements and limitations, network and security implications of software design, and integration, communication and collaboration with all concerned parties of a given application.
  
• Documents developed software, working with designers and technical writers, to ensure correct communication of logic structures and usability.
  
• Designs, develops, implements, and maintains internal and external NTC websites.
  
• Coordinates with the team to recommend and deliver the most efficient software development system(s) for specific design strategies.
  
• Evaluates effectiveness of software by participating in the software qualification process with members of the target audience; reviews and evaluates the software development process.
  
• Ensures quality of software by reviewing software requirements, recommendations and implements software revisions where required; conducts technical review of
  

• software.

• Maintains professional and technical knowledge in areas of expertise.
  

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
  
• Microsoft Visual Studio
  
• 5+ years professional experience in developing data driven web applications with ASP.NET, C#, Microsoft SQL Server and Web API
  

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Azure DevOps - Preferred
  
• Agile, Scrum - Preferred
  
• MVC, Blazor and WebForms - Preferred
  
• Windows server administration and troubleshooting - Preferred
  
• Microsoft Power Platform - Preferred
  

DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT:

• Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or equivalent experience
  

CITIZENSHIP/SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

• A DOE Q Clearance or the ability to obtain a DOE Q clearance
