Position Description:
This position supports the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)). This role provides subject matter expertise in DoD acquisition law, policy and processes to advise on reporting requirements of acquisition programs in all Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF) pathways. This position manages data governance in defense acquisition to extract valuable information from various acquisition data sources to enhance program assessments and key acquisition life cycle decisions.
This position is located in Arlington, VA.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Provides acquisition client consultation on DoD acquisition law, policy, business requirements, and derivative information system requirements
Support the development and management of the authoritative, governed, common enterprise framework/standard for acquisition program data
Ensure transparent data alignment and stewardship of content across multiple data domains, improving acquisition outcomes
Collaborates across teams to shape functional requirements
Manages stakeholder engagements and team workload client priorities
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
10 years in multiple roles within the DoD acquisition community, (e.g., program management office positions and staff support for Program Executive Officers, Component Acquisition Executives, or the Defense Acquisition Executive)
Due to the nature of the work, US citizenship and a secret clearance are required
Multiple areas of acquisition proficiency, such as program management, program control, financial management, contracting, research and development, engineering, production, test, logistics and sustainment
Strong knowledge of Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process
Knowledgeable of DoD acquisition data and program reporting requirements
Strong analytical skills
Proven ability working successfully in a collaborative and diverse environment
Excellent attention to detail, particularly documentation concerns
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $111,600.00 - $214,800.00.
