Aegis Aerospace is currently looking for an Assembly, Integration & Test (AI&T) Manager to join our team in Florida.
To achieve these great efforts, AEGIS needs an AI&T Manager to lead the systems engineering integration and test activities for the AEGIS spaceflight missions and has experience and/or understand working in a rapid paced experimental R&D environment.
This position will work with our Engineering and Operations team for spacecraft development and operations. This position will be based in the U.S. (Florida).
As AI&T Manager for the Lunar Lander Vehicle, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of assembly, integration, and test for the OB-1 lunar lander, including technical, cost, and schedule. You will plan and manage the execution of all AI&T-related tasks. Your responsibilities will include preparing the spacecraft cleanroom with needed GSE, participating in IRR and TRR, and managing off-site testing.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and lead all aspects of Assembly, Integration, and Test, including technical, cost, and schedule.
- Develop creative solutions to ensure AI&T schedule is met.
- Define testing requirements and developing the entire integration workflow and facility from the ground up.
- Determine test flow, writing and running I&T procedures on test beds and flight hardware.
- Help manage all test bed requirements, design the test beds, and build and operate them.
- Develop technical requirements for GSE.
- Support program reviews (CDR, TRR, etc.).
- Coordinate with design and manufacturing teams for GSE and test equipment.
- Work with off-site testing suppliers and Team AEGIS Systems Engineers to ensure testing requirements are met.
- Manage the acquisition and use of emulators to facilitate rapid integration of Lander components and Payloads.
- Support Integration Readiness and Test Readiness Reviews.
- Support all launch activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- BS in Aerospace Engineering or related engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in related engineering discipline or management.
- Experience in spacecraft Integration and test.
- Familiarity with spacecraft development timelines through direct program experience.
- Ability to effectively work in a multi-discipline team and provide technical guidance and insight.
- Effective communication and ability to resolve conflicts.
- Demonstrated ability to manage technical, schedule and budget conflicts.
- Willingness to travel for off-site testing
- Desired
- 10+ years of experience in a leadership position or systems engineering for spacecraft.
- Experience with HITL laboratories.
- AIT lead on multi-manifest mission.
- Flexibility to meet changing program needs.
