Work you'll do

• Provide software development support to a suite of software applications and libraries used for mission operations support for the International Space Station.
• Advance the Telescience Resource Kit (TReK) used for mission operations on the ISS and future moon to Mars missions

Qualifications

Required:

• Ability to work full time (5 days a week) on client site in Huntsville, AL
• Bachelor's degree & 4+ years of development experience in a mission support environment
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
• 3+ years' experience in C/C++ programming
• 3+ years' experience in object-oriented design and implementation
• 3+ years' experience with Windows and Linux OS
• Ability to integrate third-party libraries

Preferred:

• Active Public Trust clearance
• Domain expertise in space flight operations systems
• Python, bash, Java, C#, Subversion, CMake, XML, JSON
• Web-based system development
• SQLite, virtual machines, cloud computing
