SteelGate LLC is hiring a full-time Project Manager/Site Lead to join our team. In this role you will be supporting the US Army Reserves. The US Army Reserves manages all C4IM missions and C4IM Service and Support for the Pacific. The US Army Reserves provides direct C4IM support to the Headquarters and staff elements, Direct Reporting Units (DRU) on network functions pertaining to Operations and Plans, Network Operations, and Unified Communications. Strategic, tactical, and base sustaining C4IM support during peacetime and contingent operations are executed in support of all USAR units in the Pacific. The US Army Reserve provides mission command sustainment through the Pacific LandWarNet (PLWN) for assigned and attached USAR units and personnel as a Direct Reporting Unit (DRU) and senior USAR Headquarters to the Commander and US Army Pacific (USARPAC). Any loss of access to the PLWN or its critical applications and services will severely degrade operations and missions in support of the US Army Reserve Mission throughout the Pacific Theater of Operations (PTO).
Tasks include:
• Responsible for the effectiveness and efficiency of Network Operations and System and Network Infrastructure Services including managing technical issues and business processes across 9th MSC locations
• Manages and responds to Government issues, concerns, and comments, and proactively alert leadership to potential contractual or programmatic and resource limitation issues.
• Conducts close collaboration with other technical and non-technical service owners.
• For infrastructure operations, interfaces between 9th MSC and key stakeholders across the Pacific region overseeing the day-to-day technical operations and infrastructure of the Network Operations and Security Center and resources to effectively fulfill their missions, roles, and responsibilities.
• Manages, leads, develops, and retains the infrastructure and operations technology team, including training initiatives, mentoring, and performance coaching.
• Manages third-party vendor partners: their deliverables, priorities, and performance. Provides periodic performance assessments to leadership and government staff; and participate in / provide subject matter expertise in vendor relationship management meetings as required.
• Builds successful stakeholder relationships with other service and operational leaders by developing a clear understanding of service needs, acting as a trusted advisor, and ensuring cost-effective delivery of IT services to meet those needs.
• Devises, establishes, and improves IT processes, policies, and systems to enable and accelerate the implementation of strategies set by leadership.
• Leads infrastructure project reviews with both project leaders and stakeholders and manages/supports the RMF/eMASS certification and accreditation process.
• Tracks and supports project leaders with resolution of major project roadblocks as required.
Required Skills:
• Extensive knowledge of RMF/eMASS certification and accreditation
• Experience with C4IM deliverables
• Experience with MPLS, DISA, Commercial circuits and WAN/LAN hardware/software solutions
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
Required Qualifications:
• PMP certification required.
• An IT certification such as CISM, CISSP, required.
• 6 + years' experience as a Project Manager and Lead IT Enterprise Management experience for a Network Operations and Security Center.
• Minimum DoD 8570 IAT Level III Compliance: Security + with CE
• 6 + years' experience in DoD IT purchasing Procedures (CHESS, Goal 1 Waivers, etc.)
• Must possess and maintain Secret clearance.
