SteelGate LLC is hiring a full-time VTC Engineer to join our team. In this role you will be supporting the US Army Reserves. The US Army Reserves manages all C4IM missions and C4IM Service and Support for the Pacific. The US Army Reserves provides direct C4IM support to the Headquarters and staff elements, Direct Reporting Units (DRU) on network functions pertaining to Operations and Plans, Network Operations, and Unified Communications. Strategic, tactical, and base sustaining C4IM support during peacetime and contingent operations are executed in support of all USAR units in the Pacific. The US Army Reserve provides mission command sustainment through the Pacific LandWarNet (PLWN) for assigned and attached USAR units and personnel as a Direct Reporting Unit (DRU) and senior USAR Headquarters to the Commander and US Army Pacific (USARPAC). Any loss of access to the PLWN or its critical applications and services will severely degrade operations and missions in support of the US Army Reserve Mission throughout the Pacific Theater of Operations (PTO).
Required Skills:
• Extensive working knowledge in Codian MSE 8000 Multipoint Control Unit
• Extensive working knowledge with Cisco Video Communications Server
• Extensive working knowledge with Cisco Softclient
• Extensive working knowledge with Cisco Communications Managers
• Extensive working knowledge with Cisco Codecs and Cisco Telepresence Management Suite Server
• Working knowledge of Firewall Traversal
• Working knowledge of Extron Room Interface
• Experience with IPVTC/VOIP (H.323/SIP), ISDN (H.320), KIV 7M/HSB, and STIG implementation
Required Qualifications:
• 6+ years of experience in designing, engineering, implementing and managing Enterprise VTC solutions supporting both secured and unsecured services in a DISN environment
• Minimum DoD 8570 IAT Level II Compliance: Security + with CE (CCNP Collaboration preferred)
• Must possess and maintain Secret clearance
