Must Haves:

• HS Diploma or some college with 2+ years' experience
• Able to work in a team environment and get along with peers
• Read and understand blueprints and follow them
• 3+ years performing mechanical measurements, using various measuring instruments GD&T methodology.
• 3+ years performing simple surface plate set-ups, micrometers, height gages, optical comparators, etc.
• Able to use computers for automated testing
• Familiar with IPC and Jstandard Standards
• Able to write
• Reliable/consistent
• Self-starter/motivated
• Need to have some computer skills
• Able to lift a max of 35 lbs

Nice to Haves:

• Ability to perform electronic and/or hybrid inspection of complex electrical assemblies, components and systems.
• Able to describe nonconformance situations and assist in the cause and resolution.
• Able to review reworked and repaired items for acceptance.
• Able to understand drawings and drawing notes.
• Must have reasonably good manual dexterity
• Experience with reading blueprints
• Computer Skills

Job Description:
Responsible for performing in process and/or receiving inspection, test and/or audits of manufactured and/or purchased parts, units, materials, equipment, panel/module level assemblies and quality control programs to specifications. Interprets manufacturing drawings, diagrams, specifications and lists to approve or reject units, test setups, or systems for in process or final assemblies. troubleshoot defective or malfunctioning units or systems. Maintains support documentation and performs sampling and testing of incoming components, raw materials, and build of assemblies. Reviews and reports performance data. Ensures raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company and test standards. Determines or assists in determining methods and procedures necessary for inspection. May interface with customer quality representatives or suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visually inspect in-process and completed products such as electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies or mechanical units, subassemblies, structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds.
• Perform Receiving Inspection, In-process Inspection, and Final Inspection functions
• Use various measuring devices.
• Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
• Work from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists.
• May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
• Perform line clearances after each lot to ensure all materials from the previous lot have been removed.
