As a Systems Administrator, you will:
- Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and reliability of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Develop, implement and maintain monitoring solutions using tools such as SolarWinds, Open Text, Ansible, SCOM.
- Analyze system performance data and generate reports to identify trends and potential issues.
- Respond to alerts and incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure system stability and performance.
- Create and maintain documentation for monitoring processes, configurations, and procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in systems monitoring, network administration, or a similar role.
- A very strong background and proficiency with SCOM.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, system architecture, and IT infrastructure.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, ITIL, Azure/AWS Cloud certification, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
