ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Cloud Analyst to join our team remotely.

In this role you will provide analyses of specialized applications and operational environments and cloud-based systems, and provides design, integration, documentation and implementation advice on complex problems that require extensive knowledge of the major commercial cloud service providers and DHS's hybrid computing environment. Individuals will support engineering, incident response, and engineering teams to include trouble-shooting, designing, deploying, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-wide cloud-based and hybrid cloud-based solutions.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Support the enterprise architecture, design, development, and deployment of network and cloud services in support of government customer
  • Conduct analysis on cloud implementations and solutions to determine ability to meet or exceed requirements; develop and brief analysis reports and information to stakeholders; research and analyze enterprise-wide network and cloud solutions, capabilities, and enhancements to support customer business/mission goals and objectives, while complying with the network architecture and design standards
  • Produce SDLC project artifacts such as requirements, design documents, diagrams, and other required documentation; employ DevSecOps working with other functional areas, stakeholders, and vendors to design, develop, and implement sustainable solutions
  • Support NOSC teams to include engineering, incident response, cyber security, and others providing advice and analysis regarding system maintenance, monitoring, and installation of multiple WAN/LAN environments encompassing multiple specializations, platforms, and technologies
  • Support and develop a roadmap for capabilities, operations, and technologies to transition to cloud or operation in a hybrid environment
  • Evaluate and recommend changes and/or technology upgrades to address performance, standardization, and industry best practices
  • As necessary support site installations, technology refresh, develop implementation plans and schedules; follow all customer network security processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with government policies


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • 10+ years experience with translating business requirements into cloud and hybrid solutions in computing (i.e., compute); DevSecOps (Development-Security-Operations); Agile and Application Pipeline development; fault tolerance; networking; database and storage offerings (SQL and non-SQL); virtualization technologies; database administration; managed services; cybersecurity; monitoring and alerting; identity, credentialing, and access management; business continuity; disaster recovery; and budgeting.
  • Previous Network Operations Center (NOC) or IT Operations experience; hands-on experience with Cisco routing, switching, and firewall technology
  • Experience with Cloud technologies and operations; Certification from at least 1 or more cloud providers such as AWS, Google, Azure, IBM, etc.
  • Experience with primary network topologies, LANs, WANs and other common network standards; strong understanding of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and QoS, MPLS; Very strong knowledge of routing protocols (e.g., BGP, EIGRP, OSPF) and network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, GRE, IPSEC, and VRF)
  • Technical certifications such as Cloud, CCNA, CCNP, Virtualization, monitoring and troubleshooting tools
  • IAM III/IAT III Certification


Preferred Qualifications:
  • One of the following certifications: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified Data Management Pr5ofessional (CDMP), Six Sigma Certification, ITIL4
  • Understanding of ITIL4 principles


Clearance Requirements:
  • Must have a current/active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD suitability is required prior to starting this position.


Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
