Junior Consultant

OMNI Consulting Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Consultant to provide data science and data analysis support to a critical law enforcement customer. The ideal candidate will support a variety of project tasks related to data-driven decision-making and business process improvement, contributing clear, actionable insights that enhance operational effectiveness.

This position is ideal for a junior-level professional with strong technical capabilities, a consulting mindset, and a passion for solving complex problems through data.
Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with client stakeholders to identify business challenges and develop data-informed solutions.
• Conduct research, gather and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to support operational and strategic objectives.
• Prepare and present high-quality documentation including reports, memos, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Participate in client meetings, contributing insights and ensuring project activities remain aligned with client goals.
• Support the development of business process improvements through automation and analytical tools.
• Provide guidance and support throughout project lifecycles, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery.
• Stay current with industry best practices in data science, business intelligence, and process automation.

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Management, or a related field.
  Educational requirements may be waived with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of consulting experience, preferably supporting government or federal clients.
• Active Top Secret clearance required at the time of application.
• Proven experience in data analysis and working with data science tools and techniques.
• Proficiency in Python and experience using Power BI for reporting and visualization.
• Familiarity with automation tools, especially Microsoft Power Automate.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

On-site in Washington, D.C

Salary range: $72,000 - $76,000, based on experience and qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with or supporting law enforcement or national security agencies.
• Exposure to machine learning or predictive analytics techniques.
• Understanding of agile methodologies and modern consulting practices.
