Accounting Training Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Training Analyst to provide functional support and training for accounting and financial systems supporting the SSC Enterprise Space Activity Group. This role plays a key part in equipping program and financial staff with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively execute their roles within a Working Capital Fund (WCF) environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in financial system support, training development, and end-user assistance, with a solid understanding of DoD accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide functional support for the accounting system, including help desk assistance and resolution of minor end-user issues.
• Develop and implement end-user training programs, including live sessions, reference materials, and job aids.
• Create and maintain training schedules, agendas, desk-level guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Deliver training on financial and business systems, emphasizing user roles and task execution processes.
• Develop and sustain financial reporting databases within the FaaS environment.
• Train and support staff on financial reporting tools, best practices, and compliance requirements.
• Support integration and data flow between FAMIS, ADVANA, and other business systems (Preferred).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve end-user adoption and system efficiency.

7+ years of financial management experience in a Working Capital Fund (WCF) environment,
OR 5+ years of experience with one of the following certifications:

Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM)

Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM)

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Demonstrated experience developing and delivering training on accounting or financial systems.

Experience supporting financial or accounting operations in a government or defense environment.

Strong documentation skills with attention to detail and compliance.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with DoD financial systems.

Active Secret Clearance required.

Location: Space Coast, FL (Preferred) or National Capital Region (NCR)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience interfacing with systems such as FAMIS, ADVANA, or other DoD business systems.

Familiarity with DoD or Space Force financial reporting environments.

Prior experience creating or managing FaaS financial databases.

Strong communication and customer service skills with a focus on knowledge transfer and user empowerment.
