Our client has an opening for a Proposal Coordinator who will assist in coordinating proposals from bid decision to proposal submission. The right candidate will have 1-4 years of experience coordinating proposal efforts for the Department of Defense (DoD) and other Federal Agencies. Must be a US Citizen. This person must be located in the Washington DC metro area. While the role is primarily remote, there will be occasional meetings in Alexandria VA.
Desired Skills & Experience:
• US Citizen; Preferred DoD Secret Clearance;
• Bachelor’s Degree;
• 2-4 years of proposal experience for DoD and other Federal agencies contracts;
• Ability to coordinate proposals from initial conception through final delivery, including content development, technical writing, editing, and proposal presentation;
• Experience responding to various IDIQ/BPA Task Orders, RFPs/RFQs;
• Outstanding organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail;
• Must have great communications skills, both verbal and written;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities:
• Drive the creation of sales collateral to reflect the brand while addressing specific client needs including proposals, presentations, statements of qualifications, and meeting agendas;
• Lead discussions with internal clients to drive a strategic approach to new business opportunities;
• Manage the RFP response/proposal development process; including assessing requirements, acquiring content from subject matter experts and team members, formulating clear and effective responses, and complying with all requirements;
• Conduct research on prospective clients, meet directly with Business Development/Directors to understand the nature of the opportunity and the business issues the prospective client is facing, and add value through effective and independent research and writing;
• Review, edit, and proofread proposals and other materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency of documents, and to ensure compliance with company guidelines and standards.
