Position Summary

As a leading global provider, the Director of Business Development is responsible for coverage across all federal, state, intelligence community, and commercial market segments to support the range of Constellis' synergistic services. Under the supervision of the Leadership Team, the Director is responsible for developing and executing win strategies for pursuits in the Mission Support Services (MSS) business unit. The MSS business unit includes operations and maintenance, base operations support, vehicle fleet maintenance and construction, advanced training, logistics and life support, crisis response, UAV, and security technology and infrastructure.

This position will be responsible for developing capture campaigns that include comprehensive strategies for customer engagement, teaming, solution development, stakeholder engagement, win plans, capture plans, key personnel acquisition, subjection matter expertise, and budget management to accomplish the highest probability of win. The Director will support proposal and business development teams by building and leading our pipeline of opportunities, creating and vetting win strategies, reviewing proposal content, and supporting other activities and business units as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Leads capture and proposal development primarily for international security, training, and mission support opportunities
  • Serve as the lead Program Manager for AOPTS with SOCAF, overseeing all aspects of program management to ensure strategic alignment and mission success.
  • Moves assigned opportunities through the business development lifecycle
  • Prepares and oversees implementation of effective customer call plans
  • Builds capture teams and assigns capture responsibilities across the company in coordination with functional area leads (contracts, pricing, finance, HR, etc.)
  • Prepare detailed competitor analyses
  • Identifies qualified teaming partners
  • Develop pricing strategies in coordination with the Pricing Manager
  • Independently leads the coordination and preparation of proposals including scheduling; conducting kick-off meetings, storyboarding and win strategy sessions, and review meetings
  • Translates capture strategy, win themes, customer hot buttons, discriminator/differentiators, and ghosting techniques throughout the proposal
  • Drives proposal content from contributors, writers, SMEs and reviewers to the proposal outline and schedule and assures that the proposal is compliant, compelling and persuasive in accordance with the solicitation requirements
  • Coordinates development and implementation of communications/marketing campaigns supporting capture efforts
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and other practices set forth by upper management
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
  • An active Top-Secret clearance
  • A NATO Security clearance
  • Special Operations Veteran with Experience with SOCEUR and/or SOCAF.
  • Business experience
  • Must be comfortable using a CRM system, and willing to assist with quotations and Basis of Estimates (BOEs) as needed.
  • Must be a collaborative team player who demonstrates transparency, accountability, and a high level of motivation.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Fluent in German/French languages
  • TS/SCI Strongly Preferred
  • Experience working with NATO and Allied Force.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to lift, lower, carry, push or move objects up to 25 lbs. Various tasks may require intermittent standing or prolonged sitting, and the ability to walk, reach, kneel, crouch and handle work related supplies and tools.
