Mission Command Doctrinal Training Team (DTT) Manager 1

Position Description

Serco is seeking a Mission Command Doctrinal Training Team (DTT) Manager 1 to lead a critical training team at the Fort Chaffee Joint Maneuver Training Center (FCJMTC) in Arkansas. In this role, you will oversee the delivery of pre-exercise, pre-rotation, and pre-deployment training for Army units, supporting a broad range of training objectives aligned with current Army doctrine.

This position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and customer approval.

In this role, you will:

• Manage DTT operations supporting six Warfighting Functions (WFF), either as single-function or multi-functional training teams.
• Deliver live and constructive Mission Command training solutions tailored to training unit needs.
• Ensure doctrinal relevance by maintaining alignment with current TRADOC publications and issuing updated Operations Orders and Scenarios to Training Unit Commanders (TUCs).
• Provide flexible training support to low-density branches including chemical, sustainment, aviation, engineers, and fires.
• Collaborate with TUCs to customize OPORDs and training scenarios to create relevant and realistic events.
• Serve as the deputy site lead in the absence of the primary site lead, maintaining awareness of overall site operations.

Qualifications

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A Bachelor's degree with at least 12 years of military or U.S. DoD experience, or a Master's degree with at least 10 years of experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in exercise planning using the JELC process.
• Experience serving as a staff primary at the Brigade or Division level.
• A background in senior Army leadership and training management.
• Experience as a Combat Arms, Combat Support, or Combat Service Support Officer with WFF staff experience at Battalion level or higher.
• One of the following qualifications: 04/MAJ, E8/MSG, or CW2/Warrant Officer with battalion-level experience.
• A minimum of 6 years of WFF-related staff experience or 8 years of MCTSP-specific experience.
• Recent experience in the Army National Guard training support system or a similar environment.
• At least 2 years of experience working with Mission Command Information Systems within a WFF.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD TS/SCI clearance.
• Exceptional communication skills and comfort working with senior military leaders.
• Availability to work on-site at Fort Chaffee and travel up to 10%.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Demonstrated expertise in managing and deploying doctrinally aligned training teams.
• In-depth understanding of WFF integration in live and constructive training environments.
• Operational leadership experience in a training environment.

Additional desired experience and skills:

• Combat Training Center (CTC) experience.
• Previous command experience at the Battalion level or higher.
