Position Description
Serco is seeking a Principal Military Trainer - Sustainment Analyst to join our team supporting the U.S. Army's Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. The selected candidate will support Operations Group Juliet (OPSGRP-J) in delivering collective training for Army Special Operations units.

Serco is seeking a Principal Military Trainer - Sustainment Analyst to join our team supporting the U.S. Army's Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. The selected candidate will support Operations Group Juliet (OPSGRP-J) in delivering collective training for Army Special Operations units.
In this role, you will:
- Provide direct support to the OPSGRP-J Sustainment Warfighting Function Chief.
- Develop and produce graphic products for After Action Reviews (AARs), Mission Command Training (MCT) Workshops, In-Progress Reviews, and briefings.
- Analyze exercise observations as they apply to the tactical and operational levels of war.
- Research and analyze operations during exercises to ensure conformity with U.S. Joint and Army doctrine, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain proficiency in Special Operations Force - Conventional Force Interdependence, Integration, and Interoperability (SOF-CFI3).
- Support MCTP After Action Review (AAR) analysis and production efforts.
- Serve as a planning team lead responsible for the planning, preparation, documentation, and execution of contractor-supported MCTP exercises and OPSGRP-J activities.
- Assist the OPSGRP-J Senior Analyst in completing associated deliverable documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of professional and/or military experience, or Master's degree with a minimum of 3 years of professional and/or military experience.
- Completion of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College or a service equivalent.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
- Familiarity with Sustainment and Army/Joint Special Operations Forces doctrine.
- Experience with simulation training and simulation programs used for Army training, including scenario development.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong understanding of military operations, training doctrine, and sustainment operations.
- Ability to lead planning teams and coordinate complex exercises.
- Experience in professional communication, both written and verbal.
Additional desired experience and skills:
- Experience at Battalion or Brigade S-3 level.
- U.S. Military Special Operations Forces (SOF) background.
- Graduate degree in a related field.
- Brigade or higher staff officer experience.
- Practical experience assembling and presenting Army AARs.
