Position Description
Serco is seeking a Principal Technical Support Team Analyst to join our team at Camp Dodge in Johnston, Iowa, supporting the Army National Guard (ARNG) Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP). This role is responsible for leading a technical team providing critical support in integrating and maintaining tactical communications and Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS) in training environments.

Serco is seeking a Principal Technical Support Team Analyst to join our team at Camp Dodge in Johnston, Iowa, supporting the Army National Guard (ARNG) Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP). This role is responsible for leading a technical team providing critical support in integrating and maintaining tactical communications and Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS) in training environments.
In this role, you will:
- Supervise a team of technical professionals supporting unit staff in the deployment and maintenance of tactical command post systems, shelters, and power systems.
- Provide training and hands-on support for tactical network setup, MCIS configuration, and communications troubleshooting.
- Perform systems integration, upgrades, routine maintenance, and ensure security compliance for MCIS.
- Support unit staff both at the Mission Training Complex (MTC) and at various operational locations.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 9 years of military training and support experience; OR
- Master's degree with a minimum of 7 years of military training and support experience.
- Active U.S. DoD Secret security clearance.
- Subject matter expertise in Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE) and MCIS integration.
- Experience with MCIS systems including:
- CPCE
- AFATDS
- AMDWS
- TAIS
- GCCS-A
- JADOCS
- Command Web
- Tactical Messaging
- WAVE
- JBC-P
- Familiarity with simulation tools such as JLCCTC and DXTRS.
- Possession of IAT Level II certification.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Ability to work on-site at Camp Dodge in Johnston, Iowa.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong leadership and technical integration skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Army MCIS and tactical command post operations.
- Ability to guide and train personnel in complex systems environments.
- Clear communication skills and problem-solving ability under operational conditions.
Additional desired experience and skills:
- Digital Master Gunner qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience integrating MCIS at the brigade level or higher.
