GFEBS Expert/Senior Consultant
HunaTek is seeking a highly motivated GFEBS Expert to join our team in support of the Department of the Army, Combat Capabilities Development Command, Chemical Biological Center (DEVCOM CBC).
Essential Job Functions
The GFEBS Expert shall provide comprehensive budgetary, program analysis, and GFEBS execution support, including tracking financial data, preparing reports, and interpreting budgetary laws, policies, and regulations in compliance with DoD, DFAS, and OPM standards. Responsibilities include providing technical assistance on funding actions, delivering in-person and virtual GFEBS training to government personnel, developing job aids, and serving as the primary troubleshooting resource for GFEBS-related issues. The expert will also monitor financial systems for deficiencies, coordinate corrections, respond to audit requests with accurate and timely documentation, and operate a GFEBS Helpdesk to support DEVCOM CBC. Additionally, the contractor must maintain up-to-date knowledge of GFEBS system changes, assess their impact, and ensure effective system use across the organization.

- Creating / updating training material for GFEBS.
- Mentoring and teaching GFEBS to a wide audience.
- Provide functional support end users.
- Generate content for and conduct functional forums to train end users on system functionality or to address common issues.
- Review role assignments for each user group and each of their identified users.
- Collect and analyze data, prepare status reports and present material to various audiences.
- Diagnose problems accurately and timely; evaluate and develop alternative courses of action; recommend and/or implement creative and effective solutions; document results.
- Plan and facilitate functional team meetings; ensure comprehensive minutes, agendas and schedules are prepared and distributed in a timely manner.
Skills and Qualifications Required
- US Citizenship.
- Required: High School Diploma or GED.
- Comprehensive experience (at least five years of experience) in teaching, training, and using GFEBS applications for specific business processes in the Army related to complex reimbursable operations and at least 10 years of Federal Government reimbursable accounting experience.
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be detail oriented and organized.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present information to senior leadership and technical / non-technical audiences.
- Expert level knowledge of DoD financial management policies and procedures, and systems for finance, personnel, acquisition, inventory, property and material management experience.
- Expert knowledge of Funds Control Module (FCM), General Fund Business Enterprise System (GFEBS), Faces-to-Spaces, and reimbursable business processes.
- High level of proficiency of Microsoft Office 365 programs, including Excel and SharePoint.
Skills and Qualifications Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
