Strategic Long-Range Planner
R&K Enterprise Solutions, Inc. Exercise GREEN FLAG provides a training venue for joint United States and coalition aircrew, air liaison officers, joint terminal attack controllers (JTACS), battle management personnel and weapons system operators in the planning and execution of joint air ground operations in counter-land operations. R&K provides subject matter expertise (SME) necessary to support GREEN FLAG tactical exercises.
Title: Strategic Long-Range Planner

Clearance: Secret Clearance Required
Start Date: 1 July 2025 (Contingent Upon Award)
Duties: The successful candidate shall:
Be responsible for exercise planning and coordination between the exercise participants and exercise staff.
Develop the initial Master Air Attack Plan (MAAP) and plans all phases of the exercise, coordinates between the flying units and the ground units, and ensures all requirements are met for rotation execution.
Ensure Off-station aircraft support (e.g. tanker support, civilian CAS platforms, SUAS, UAS) and visiting unit exercise flight scheduling.
Provide exercise life cycle planning support in conjunction with the squadron Director of Operations to include presentation preparation and subject matter expert support at D-90 Initial and Mission Planning Events (IPE, MPE); pre-exercise flight mission development; and MAAP creation, consensus, concurrence, and compliance.
Conduct real-time mission monitoring, data collection, and analysis during each exercise flying period.
Enter basic mission and weapon employment data into mission monitoring database.
Attend scheduling meetings; pre/post exercise meetings; pre-post mission briefs/debriefs.
Assist with exercise planning.

Requirements: The candidate shall meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum of Five (5) years experience as an exercise planner for the Air Force or joint exercises
- Minimum of Five (5) years experience scheduling fixed wing aircraft operations
- Ability to multi-task and plan 2-3 exercises simultaneously
- Ability to work within a team construct
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Teams)
- Secret Clearance Required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC), USAF Air Liaison Officer (ALO), or USMC Air Officer (AO)
- Experience controlling attack aviation in military operations
Or
Experience as a rated officer liaising with ground elements and integrating air operations into military operations
- Experience processing JTASRs
- Operations analysis with experience working CAS
- Completed Joint Firepower Course
- Experience in Air Support Operations Center (ASOC) or similar C2 node
- Proficient with Microsoft Visual Basic (VBA)
